A beautiful administrative building in the process of being abandoned, and a door left open through inattention. That's all it took to quickly grab my camera and invite myself to wander discreetly through this maze of corridors and staircases. It also reminded me that I once did urbex.
Once inside, I quickly scope out the area and whip out my camera.
Although the building was still in use just a few weeks ago, an entire floor looks like it was abandoned long ago. Proof of this is the
thick layer of dust, the old-fashioned light fixtures, and the empty rooms. The lower floors, however, have benefited from a more than
welcome renovation.
A quick visit, certainly, but a very pleasant one.
Of course, to preserve the site, it will be kept secret.
Let's start with the most important thing : the bar in the banquet hall.
A generously sized room with almost no windows.
We were expecting you...
Finally, some order on the desks !
Elsewhere in the building, the atmosphere is rather cold. This beautiful wooden staircase is an exception.
What was I saying ?
Long abandoned.
From another era.
A little cramped...
Hall of eternal waiting.
The door handles still display the old logos of the organizations that used to be housed here.
End of the tour.
