The visit of the day takes us to a beautiful bourgeois house.
From certain points of view, it could almost have become the successor of the famous Manoir de la
VerrièreNote1 (or Manoir du Puits de
LumièreNote2), all things considered. Obviously, we don’t find the magnificence
of the Puits de Lumière but we still see a glass roof installed on the roof and allowing abundant natural light in the center of the
building, a beautiful period bathroom and a certain refinement.
Alas, this villa isn't at all in the same remarkable condition as the Verrière. Here, a good part of the first floor is in the
process of collapsing. Going from one side of the building to the other requires either going through the second floor or going down to
the ground floor. It's a shame as this villa deserves a new life.
But optimism de rigueur with Doctor Laguerre.
A devastated ground floor but much more welcoming upper floors.
First floor. The future of the beautiful building doesn't look the best.
The same floor seen from below.
Numerous vestiges of the former life of the place.
And a period bathroom.
Chipped toilets. The floor no longer holds...
The old doctor's office.
A beautiful kitchen still in its original.
The thieves haven’t invaded the place yet.
At the bottom of the hole...
The central staircase isn't lacking in style.
A nice skylight.
End of visit.
