Sometimes (hum...), the political world gives us aberrations from an infrastructure point of view.
The place visited today is a prime example. Composed of a velodrome and a grandstand, the site was inaugurated with great fanfare at the time.
Twenty years later, we find a completely abandoned site. Here is public money well invested !
Why such a scenario ? At first glance, a very relative build quality : we can no longer count the cracks on the track where the vegetation
grows without problem.
Next, a stand with 2,477 seats for which attendance ? In addition, no seat or amenities are present on site. Note that this grandstand
comes from a football stadium in the region.
Finally, was it really useful ? Given the non-use of the velodrome, the answer was quickly found.
