Museum day today.
Mike and I decided to go to the Cinquantenaire museums of Brussels, namely the Army Museum, the Aviation Museum and Autoworld.
If the collections presented are really worthy of great interest, these museums suffer from a lack of obvious means. Little emphasis
on the centerpieces, tired buildings and a lack of space mean that visits have a taste of too little.
And when we know that these museums depend directly on the goodwill of our elite ministers, we can only worry.
Nevertheless, I strongly encourage you to take a tour. Autoworld alone is well worth the detour with its many pre-war cars,
including several old Belgian glories. Cars from a time when our country was capable of the best. A bygone era if any...
And with the bad weather that we have for too long, these places are just right.
First step: the Aviation Museum.
